At Community Economic Pathways, we believe real change happens when communities come together with purpose. Every program, event, and initiative we create is designed to educate, uplift, and create opportunities for youth, families, entrepreneurs, and individuals looking for a better path forward. Below are our campaigns.

🔥 Before The Fire Starts
Helping bring fire prevention awareness, free home inspections, safety education, and critical home safety support to families and neighborhoods in need. This campaign was created to help educate the community on ways to prevent most home fires before they start.

👷🏽 Youth Summer Program
Supporting hands-on youth learning experiences focused on creativity, mentorship, entrepreneurship, teamwork, confidence building, and community engagement. This program is designed to help expose youth to new opportunities while supporting continued year-round and after-school programming.

📘 “Construction Is Not for Dingbats” Book
Supporting entrepreneurship, construction education, business training, and community outreach through the sale and promotion of the book Construction Is Not for Dingbats: Mistakes Are Tuition – Pay Attention, Learn the Lesson, and Don’t Enroll in the Same Class Twice.

All campaign proceeds help support ongoing programming and community initiatives through Community Economic Pathways, including youth development, entrepreneurship training, community education, fire prevention awareness, and future outreach programs.

Whether you choose to donate, sponsor, purchase a book, volunteer, share our mission, or partner with us, every form of support helps us continue building stronger communities and creating economic pathways for others.

Thank you for being part of the solution. It takes a village!

❤️ $1 National Campaign

We created the $1 National Campaign because we believe everyone should have the opportunity to be part of the solution. A single dollar may not seem like much, but when people come together, small contributions can create real impact.

This campaign helps support ongoing Community Economic Pathways programming, including fire prevention awareness, free home inspections, youth programs, entrepreneurship training, and community outreach initiatives.

Whether you give $1 or more, every contribution helps us continue building stronger communities together.

Angela Boone doesn’t write from theory; she writes from real-life experience gained over decades in construction, business leadership, contracts, job sites, and hard decisions where every mistake carried a cost.

In Construction Is Not for Dingbats, Boone shares honest lessons about business, leadership, integrity, entrepreneurship, construction, and learning how to navigate difficult situations without losing yourself or your name in the process.

This book is for builders, entrepreneurs, business owners, leaders, and anyone serious about creating something that lasts. It’s not just about construction; it’s about life, discipline, decision-making, and understanding that mistakes can either become lessons or repeated patterns.

Because in business and in life, mistakes are tuition. The question is whether you graduate… or keep paying for the same class twice.

Proceeds from the book help support ongoing Community Economic Pathways programming, youth initiatives, entrepreneurship training, community outreach, and future programs designed to help build stronger communities and economic opportunities for others.
